The job itself

56-year-old female in Bridlington is seeking a coupe of support workers. There is also a maternity post available to commence from mid august.

Females support needs include: Assist with general care and social activities

Duties for support during day include; bathing, dressing, preparing meals, laundry, hobby activities, shopping and cleaning.

Days and Hours available: Tues, Wed, Thurs 1pm to 5pm and Sat and Sun 9am to 1pm.

What skills / experience are you looking for in candidates?
* Patience and kindness with a professional, friendly approach to care and safety.
* Experience of working with people with ASD/Downes Syndrome would be useful but not necessary.
* Show enthusiasm for understanding the complex needs of the person they are caring for.
The ability to drive would be helpful but not essential.

A genuine occupational requirement for a female worker exists for this post under the Equality Act 2010 due to privacy and decency.

DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post, cost to be met by the local authority.
