Job Summary And Key Responsibilities
Our Block Managers play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing a multifaceted portfolio of residential blocks. Each member of our team is selected for professionalism, tenacity, and a desire to perform at their best. Due to expansion, we have an opportunity for an experienced Block Manager to join our team and manage a Southeast London‑based portfolio. You’ll be someone who flourishes in a complex role, works proactively, and communicates excellently.
Duties will include
- Managing a portfolio of residential blocks and housing developments in and around the Southeast.
- Preparing an annual service charge budget for each site.
- Monitoring the best use of service charge funds.
- Liaising with leaseholders, freeholders, residents, tradesmen, third‑party contractors and professional advisors.
- Arranging and monitoring works and repairs.
- Arranging service contracts.
- Administering insurance claims.
- Arranging Section 20 works and consulting with owners.
- Arranging risk assessments.
- Monitoring health and safety compliance.
- Conducting site inspections.
Skills Required
- Experience working within the residential long leasehold sector.
- Good understanding of relevant legislation.
- Preferably TPI qualified or an industry recognised qualification.
- Numerate with IT skills across Microsoft Office suites.
- Clear communicator across all platforms.
