Reed Education are working with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Croydon to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a permanent position starting this September.

The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher who can deliver engaging learning experiences and confidently support pupils through their final year of primary school. You will play a key role in preparing children for SATs and their transition to secondary education.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Year 6 curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for end-of-KS2 assessments
* Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas for support
* Maintain a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
* Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families
* Contribute to wider school life and enrichment opportunities
What We Are Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A reflective, committed practitioner passionate about pupil achievement
* Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
