An exciting opportunity to recruit a part time Support Worker. Hourly rate of £15 per hour once probation period has been completed.
You will be required to join the care team to assist a lovely young lady who has physical and learning disabilities to support her in her fully adapted home, near Barmouth North Wales, where she lives with her Mum and siblings.
The successful applicant will need to assist the young lady with all aspects of daily living and help her to engage in activities at home and in the community. She enjoys going out and socialising, going to the cinema, gardening, cooking, swimming, going to the beach and crafts.
Previous experience as a carer is NOT essential as training will be provided. A driver is essential as you will be required to take the young lady out in her wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Contracted part time working hours, weekend availability is essential. No routine nighttime shifts. Mileage allowance to and from work will be considered if travelling outside of local area.
