About us
We are a friendly, well established and highly regarded practice. We are a longstanding team of 9 GP Partners and one salaried GP.
We provide care for 10,600 patients.
We are based in Denny which is easily accessible to all of the central belt and only 10 minutes from Forth Valley Royal Hospital.
Our ethos is to provide a high quality service to our patients while also ensuring that we and our staff have an excellent work/life balance. Working as a team is incredibly important to us and we are very supportive of every member of the team.
Coffee break is an ESSENTIAL part of the day and an opportunity to catch up with some excellent home baking.
We offer 15 minute face to face appointments. Administration sessions are incorporated into the rota to help keep on top of workload.
We have a finely tuned triage system. When working as the duty doctor you are never working alone.
Our clinical systems are Emis PCS and Docman. We also carry out consultations using eConsult. This is convenient for patients but also helpful for reducing need for face to face appointments, increasing practice efficiency. We do not use it as a triage system.

3 Practice Nurses
1 Health Care Support Worker/phlebotomist.
1 Full-time Practice Manager
Full complement of administrative support staff.
Our extended team includes Health Board attached staff, with District Nurses, Health Visitors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Primary Care Mental Health Nurses, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, pharmacotherapy and phlebotomy teams.
We are a long established training practice. Being involved in training ensures we maintain high standards of medical practice as well as encouraging the next generation to provide high quality care for their patients. We also host medical students from Dundee University.
We are an innovative practice and are often at the forefront of electronic advances in general practice. Over the years, we have been early adopters of electronic referrals, paperlight practice, online patient services, video consultations, electronic ReSPECT forms and clinical AI/dictation.

Location and Premises
We are based in the town of Denny, situated at the foot of the Carron Valley, in Stirlingshire, Central Scotland. We have excellent transport links, being 30 minutes drive from Glasgow and 50 minutes drive from Edinburgh.
The practice is within Denny Health Centre, Carronbank House, which is a modern building which also houses other NHS Forth Valley services including HR, staff bank and payroll as well as Falkirk Council Advice & Support Hub & Social Work department.
We have 16 consulting rooms for practice use. Each GP Partner has their own room.
Within our Health Centre, there is also MSK service, speech therapy, podiatry, midwife, childhood immunisation clinic and treatment room.
