Adamport Fire Protection is recruiting an Estimator – Fire Protection & Fire Doors. Adamport Fire Protection, part of Complii Group, is an established and trusted specialist within the fire safety industry, delivering fully accredited firestopping and fire door solutions across the UK. Your expertise will be valued and your skill set utilised as you'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders for passive fire protection and fire door projects nationwide. This role would suit someone with estimating experience within fire protection, fire doors, fire stopping, or a related construction discipline who enjoys translating technical information into clear and compliant proposals. This is a full-time permanent position, working from the office with site visits as required. You’ll receive 25 days holiday per annum and your birthday off and a company pension. Here's a look at what you'll be doing: Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for passive fire protection and fire door projects Quantify materials and labour requirements for firestopping and fire door works, ensuring accuracy and commercial competitiveness Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and develop value engineering opportunities Prepare and submit tenders, maintain pricing databases, support project handovers, and ensure compliance with FIRAS, ASFP, and internal standards Can you show experience in some of these areas? Have estimating experience within fire protection, fire doors, fire stopping, or a related construction discipline Be confident interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation Possess strong communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills with a proactive and collaborative approach Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software, with knowledge of Simpro, One Trace, FIRAS, or ASFP standards being advantageous Introducing our organisation: Adamport Fire Protection, part of Complii Group, is a trusted provider of passive fire protection solutions across the UK.
