The Opportunity
* Providing clear and prompt communication to customers throughout the full-sales cycle from product enquiry, order placement, manufacture and aftercare harnessing a “relationship first” ethos.
* Proactive prospecting and lead generation to identify and develop new business relationships through multi-channel sales strategies (research, phone and digital)
* Taking a diligent approach to sales administration, including producing sales invoices and coordinating with your colleagues across the business for smooth order fulfilment.
* Assisting the wider sales team in preparing proposals and scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
* Support in market research to understand “what good looks like” to your customers, protecting the organisations’ competitive advantage.
* Participate in Trade Shows and Exhibitions acting as a brand ambassador for the organisation and seeking new opportunities.
* Using your consultative sales skills, you will have a passion for truly understanding your Customers’ wants and needs to provide a bespoke service that exceeds expectations.
The Candidate
You will be an experienced Sales professional, ideally from the Manufacturing industry with a passion for learning and professional development. You will ideally have experience in interpreting CAD drawings and will be technically astute. You will be self-disciplined with your time and resources with a proactive approach towards developing new business. As this role is predominantly office-based, you will need to be able to reliably commute to Telford daily.
