Our client, a growing SME based in Keighley, is seeking an FP&A Accountant to take the lead on commercial finance and drive data-led decision-making across the business. This newly created role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and play a pivotal part in shaping the company’s future growth.
The FP&A Accountant will own the financial planning and analysis function, providing meaningful insight and commercial guidance to support strategic decision-making. The role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys getting into the data and delivering clear, actionable insights.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading the budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and performance analysis processes.
Designing and implementing reporting dashboards and financial models to provide timely insight.
Partnering with commercial and operational teams to evaluate opportunities, pricing, and investments.
Delivering financial updates, models, and recommendations to the leadership team.
Driving improvements in data quality, financial reporting, and business processes.
The successful candidate will be a confident finance professional with the ability to take ownership of commercial finance in a growing SME environment.
They will ideally be:
Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or QBE with FP&A / commercial finance experience.
Highly analytical and comfortable working with data, financial models, and reporting tools.
Commercially astute, able to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
Experienced in working closely with senior stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.
Adaptable and motivated to make an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial SME setting.
