Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially-minded finance professional to join our UK Media Finance team as a Commercial Finance Manager. In this highly visible and impactful role, you’ll partner with agency and practice leads to deliver robust forecasting, insightful analysis, and strategic business support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with FP&A experience in a large, complex organisation—ideally within media or advertising—to shape financial success across our media agencies.
Responsibilities
* Partner with Client Teams to build detailed and reliable revenue forecasts, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
* Support the Senior Finance Manager with forecasting, reporting, and presentation packs.
* Collaborate with the Revenue Controllership and Client Accounting teams to analyse month-end actuals and explain variances.
* Act as a trusted business partner, providing insight and data to support performance tracking and decision-making.
* Analyse client profitability and help manage costs in line with revenue shifts.
* Proactively review and improve finance processes to drive efficiency.
* Build and maintain financial models and perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions.
* Contribute to various finance projects alongside senior leaders including the Commercial Director and Finance Controller.
Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong background withinFP&A
* Background in large, complex organisations; media/advertising sector experience is a bonus
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with Power BI and HFM preferred
* Commercially astute with a strong focus on service and collaboration
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across teams
* Proactive, curious, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
