About this Role:
Are you passionate about precision, safety, and making a real impact in property management? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Compliance Coordinator to champion statutory and fire safety compliance across our diverse property portfolios.
In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee compliance operations—issuing instructions, tracking performance, and ensuring timely resolution of safety actions. You’ll collaborate closely with the Building Safety, High Rise Building, and Property Teams to uphold the highest standards of building safety and regulatory compliance.
Main Duties and Objectives:
* Monitor property assets and recurring events to identify and escalate non-compliance issues.
* Ensure asset data accuracy, completeness, and currency.
* Generate clear, actionable reports to support decision-making and compliance tracking.
* Attend KPI meetings as required with the Building Safety and High Rise Building Teams.
Instruction & Coordination:
* Issue and manage instructions for Fire Risk Assessments (HSFRA), External Wall Surveys (FRAEW), and Fire Door Surveys.
* Coordinate compliance checks (e.g., flick tests), maintaining an audit trail.
* Manage and tender compliance-related contracts, linking them to assets and maintenance schedules.
* Source quotes and raise work orders for remedial actions following statutory testing and risk assessments, in collaboration with property managers to meet budget constraints.
* Manage and monitor the compliance inbox.
Fire Door Safety Management:
* Lead the annual instruction, review, and remediation of communal fire doors.
* Instruct inspections and reports for flat front doors, coordinating with Property Managers and following up.
* Track and manage risk assessment actions with the Building Safety and High Rise Building Teams.
* Oversee documentation for the ‘golden thread’ to support the High Rise Building Team.
* Work closely with the Property Team to ensure swift resolution of risks.
* Solid understanding of statutory compliance in residential property management.
* Hands-on experience with compliance platforms and asset/event tracking.
* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Effective communicator and collaborator across teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to meet pre-agreed KPIs.
