Our Healthcare Support Workers are a vital and valued part of our workforce. You'd be joining an amazing team of Healthcare Support Workers assisting the Nursing Workforce to provide high quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
Role requirements:
* Minimum NVQ Level 2 in health-related subject or Care Certificate issued by an employer
* GCSE English Level 9-2 (A - E) or equivalent
* Minimum of 12 months experience of working in a health care setting
The Care Certificate standards define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in health and social care. The standards were updated in March 2025 to align with sector developments and the introduction of the Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification. There are now 16 standards which need to be competency assessed and signed off by an employer.
Full time and part time positions available across our services dependent on service need.
Interview Process
Interviews will be conducted through a two stage process. Stage 1 will be qualification check during week commencing 15 June. Eligible applicants will progress to stage 2 a formal interview week commencing 22 June.

Person Specification
Qualifications / Training
* English and Math GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) or equivalent
* Competence based level 2 Qualification e.g. NVQ or Diploma in Care or The Care Certificate issued by an employer
Knowledge, Experience & Expertise
* Previous employment with a healthcare setting (18 months)
