Overview
We are looking for a Residential Social Care Worker to provide high‑quality care and support to young people in a residential setting at Lyndene, a children’s home run by Nottinghamshire County Council.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality care and support to young people in a residential setting.
* Meet the physical and emotional needs of the young people.
* Engage in activities that promote their development and well‑being.
* Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe and supportive environment.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to care plans.
* Participate in shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months experience working with children, young people or adults, either in a voluntary, work or other relevant setting.
* Background in supporting individuals with diverse needs.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Working Hours and Benefits
* Regular hours 7:30‑15:30.
* Required to work two weekends in four (alternating weekends).
* Additional pay for hours worked after 8 pm, weekends and bank holidays, which can increase annual earnings.
