Careers Advisor Northamptonshire ⏰ Full-time (37 hours per week, with occasional evenings/weekends) £26,636 per annum We are delighted to be supporting a well-regarded Further Education college in Northamptonshire in the recruitment of a passionate and student-focused Careers Advisor to join their Careers team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students to make informed decisions about their future education and career pathways. ✨ About the Role As a Careers Advisor, you will deliver high-quality, impartial careers education, information, advice and guidance to students across the college. You will support the delivery of a comprehensive careers programme aligned to the Gatsby Benchmarks, working closely with curriculum teams to ensure students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-to-one careers guidance sessions to students across the college Plan and deliver engaging workshops, masterclasses and employability sessions Support students through the UCAS application process and higher education progression Collaborate with curriculum teams to provide tailored careers support Participate in open days, transition events and student recruitment activities Support cross-college events and student experience initiatives Maintain accurate records and contribute to the continuous improvement of careers provision About You You will be a confident and engaging communicator with a passion for supporting young people to achieve their goals. You'll have experience delivering careers advice and guidance, either one-to-one or in group settings, and be able to motivate students from a range of backgrounds and abilities.
