Job Title: Mechanical Contracts Manager
Location: Maidstone, Kent (Office-Based with frequent London site visits)
Salary: £70K per year
The Role:
As a Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will lead both employed staff and subcontractors in delivering live HVAC and plumbing projects, managing the full project lifecycle from enquiry to handover.
* Oversee multiple mechanical projects across plumbing and heating systems.
* Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Review technical specifications and ensure installations comply with regulatory and client standards.
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and resolve on-site issues.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and services are delivered efficiently.
* Maintain strong relationships with long-standing customers and subcontractors.

* Delivers high-quality HVAC solutions across commercial, high-end residential, education, and public sectors.
* Offers mechanical design, installation, and commissioning services.
* Currently undergoing modernisation, investment, and process improvement, providing opportunities for senior hires.
The Ideal Candidate:
* 5–10 years’ experience in mechanical building services, specialising in plumbing and heating systems.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project teams effectively.
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant mechanical qualifications (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred).
* Full UK driving licence.
