Your Role as Assistant Accountant:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role offers variety and autonomy with business-facing responsibilities. Key duties include:
* Assist in management accounts production
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations
* Post journals, accruals, and prepayments
* Manage sales and purchase ledgers
* Support stock management
* Liaise with department heads to support budgeting and provide financial advice
Experience & Qualifications:
A background in hospitality is desirable but not essential. Candidates should have proven experience in a similar finance role, strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, good analytical skills, and knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous.
