Our Glasgow office is looking to further grow its Project Controls Team and is currently recruiting a Project Controls Engineer to support projects across a variety of sectors, including energy, renewables, defence, rail, and utilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for you, as a Project Controls Engineer, to be part of our successful Project Controls Team. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients to deliver best practice Controls, Planning, Analytics, and Reporting, Risk, Change, Resource, and Performance Management solutions.
As a Project Controls Engineer with a Planning bias, you will be an excellent communicator, ensuring engagement and interaction with the schedule to maintain momentum towards successful accomplishment of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Collate progress data from multiple teams to update project/programme schedule in Primavera P6
* Collate cost data from multiple teams to support budget requests and update cost reports
* Prepare monthly reports measuring progress against baseline
* Support the Project Controls Manager on governance and assurance of Project Controls processes
Qualifications
* Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline with experience in a project control environment; proactive, self-starter with well-developed communication and analytical skills
* Experience working in a project or programme management environment, with responsibility for delivery or controls of individual projects or programmes
* Experience using controls and general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, and Microsoft Office
* Reliable and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Strong time-management skills, quick thinking, and ability to meet project deadlines
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated understanding of Project Controls concepts
