The Third Party Security Manager will undertake an annual programme of physical and logical supplier security reviews, ensuring all key suppliers have adequate controls in place to protect VMO2 customer and employee information as well as produce a formal report to be circulated to the relevant stakeholders both internal and external detailing guidance and recommendations for the mitigation of any risks identified when conducting reviews of VMO2’s key suppliers, assuring the levels of security are enhanced to meet VMO2’s needs and expectations should any gaps exist. You will own the information security relationship and act as the key point of contact with VMO2’s key suppliers managing all information security related issues and risks; providing consultation on mitigations, arranging regular meetings with key supplier’s security representatives to discuss security related issues, reviewing their security capabilities and performance and drive greater security capabilities for protection of VMO2 information and services. 1. Process oriented with structure and discipline who focuses on the journey as well as the destination
2. Professional and confident with excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to influence and effectively manage suppliers and internal stakeholders.
3. Good interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
4. Proactive and tenacious approach to problem solving and the ability to make data driven decisions to influence and deliver changes and improvements.

5. Understanding of ISO 27001 and Data Privacy legislation
6. Understanding of Corporate Governance principles and relevant legislation (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley)
