Responsibilities
Reporting to the Sales Manager, as a Technical Sales Engineer within a small team of 3, you will utilize your B2B technical sales experience to proactively seek new business opportunities and grow existing accounts. Your main responsibilities include:
* Revenue Growth: Identify, secure, and close business opportunities to drive year-on-year revenue growth.
* Client Engagement: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing excellent pre- and post-sales support.
* Market Research: Conduct research on target clients and follow up on leads to find new business opportunities.
* Sales Targets: Achieve sales targets by providing technical advice and tailored solutions.
* Collaboration: Work with sales, R&D, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless communication.
* Technical Expertise: Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training as needed.
* Market Awareness: Stay informed about competitors and market trends to contribute to product development ideas.
Skills and Experience
* B2B Experience: Background in technical sales; knowledge of renewable energy, water, or specification sales is advantageous but not essential.
