The Company and Role
My client is looking for an experienced general manager to progress to director level with account management and estimating experience, who is highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive with drive and enthusiasm. The ideal candidate will have good experience from working in the printing industry, be process-orientated, highly organised, and able to multi-task, confident and professionally presented, they will be a problem-solver and strategic thinker who is calm under pressure with a pro-active work attitude, able to work collaboratively to meet their clients expectations and deadlines. My client is a small to medium sized business which is why this role is quite different. You can be a general manager, account manager or estimator who is looking to progress with the business
Hours:
Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5PM
The Role:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
* Handle incoming customer inquiries, supply price quotes from estimators, and process orders promptly and accurately.
* Collaborate closely with the sales team to coordinate sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Manage briefs, including design, artwork, print, fulfilment, and distribution.
* Ensure briefs are created and delivered to their production teams on time and with clarity.
* Use management information systems to facilitate workflow and transfer of information between client and production
* Ensure POs are raised for external suppliers.
* Book and organise deliveries with carriers.
Advantages:
* Understanding of print production basics including design, artwork, print, fulfilment, and distribution.
* Knowledge of print techniques, materials and print finishes.
* Organised and able to multi-task.
* Confident and professionally presented.
* Have attention to detail and good organisation skills.
* IT literate and proficient in print related MIS such as Tharstern or PrintIQ would be advantageous
