Our client, operating within London's Public Sector, is currently seeking a Parking Operations Manager on a contract basis. This role is crucial for overseeing and managing the efficient operations of parking enforcement and school crossing patrols within the London Borough.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and line managing Senior Civil Enforcement Officers and School Crossing Patrol staff
Ensuring efficient and effective financial and human resource deployment
Overseeing the operational management of civil parking enforcement and school crossing patrols
Managing and organising work outside 'normal' office hours, up to 36 hours per week
Implementing agreed service outcomes in line with established protocols
Dealing effectively with staff sickness, disciplinary issues, and other people-management tasks
Job Requirements:
Experience in operational management within a parking environment
In-depth knowledge of parking legislation and relevant codes of practice
Proven people-management skills
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with appropriate insurance cover
Ability to work non-standard hours as required
