As a Car Prepper, you will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring they meet high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities of Vehicle Prepper: Preparation of Surfaces: Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate coatings to achieve a smooth and even finish. Masking and Taping: Skillfully mask and tape areas that should not be painted to protect them from overspray. Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of prepared surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Collaboration: Work closely with the painting team to ensure seamless coordination in the preparation and painting processes. Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements of this Bodyshop Prepper Role: Proven experience as a Car Prepper or similar role. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Ability to use relevant tools and equipment for preparation tasks. Knowledge of different coating materials and application techniques. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
