Our client is a well-established engineering company providing high-quality machining, fabrication, and maintenance services across a range of industries. As a Precision Manual Engineer, youll be responsible for operating manual lathes, milling machines, and associated workshop machinery to produce high-quality components. Youll play a key role in ensuring parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently, working with a variety of materials and maintaining high engineering standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and associated machinery Manufacture components to specification, working to tight tolerances Read and interpret technical engineering drawings Perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments as required Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, phosphor bronze, brass, and plastics Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.) Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with H&S procedures Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines Requirements: Proven experience in xxuwjjq manual milling and lathe operations Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Hours: 8:30am 5:00pm Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch) Overtime available
