Job Title: Butchery Operations Manager
Location: NW10, London
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Start Time: 6:00 a.m. daily
About the Role
You will oversee the daily operations of a new butchery unit within a growing farm, restaurant, and retail business. You will manage stock, ensure quality, and align operations with the needs of both the restaurant and butcher shop. You will be at the centre of stock control, logistics, and ensuring all goods meet quality standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all goods in and out, verifying weights against invoices.
* Ensure stock is accurately recorded and accounted for.
* Monitor quality standards and ensure correct pricing.
* Oversee stock levels, ordering, and align them with demand from both the restaurant and retail shop.
* Handle ad-hoc stock issues and ensure individual customer specifications are met.
* Liaise with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and correct stock ordering.
* Ensure smooth operations in the new NW10 site.
Requirements
* Previous experience in butchery operations, stock management, and logistics.
* Strong attention to detail, especially with weights, invoices, and quality control.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, starting early mornings (6:00 a.m.).
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to align stock levels with business needs.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
* Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
We are only considering candidates with the RTW in the UK, and that can easily commute to the Harlsden area for a 6am start.
