Weekend Waiter / Waitress role at Dakota Hotels in South Queensferry. Working on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a great role for someone with alternative commitments and seeking their first job.
Location: Ferrymuir, Queensferry, South Queensferry EH30 9QZ. Easily accessible by train (15-minute walk from Dalmeny Train Station) and bus. Complimentary parking is available for both employees and guests. Dakota Edinburgh is a 130-bedroom boutique hotel with a destination cocktail bar and brasserie-style grill, as well as three events spaces.
Contract and Pay
* The role carries a permanent contract of a minimum of 10 hours per week.
* Typical shifts start at 5pm, on a Friday and Saturday night.
* Pay rate is national minimum wage plus tronc payments which are at least £2.10 per hour.
Primary Role Responsibilities
* Carry out the role of a waiter/waitress in our Bar and Grill, providing table service, taking guest orders and running large trays of food to guest tables.
* Provide the highest levels of guest service, offering personalised dish and beverage recommendations, and delivering a memorable dining experience.
* Work closely with the Bar and Kitchen team to ensure effective communication flow.
* Have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menu options to enhance the guest experience.
