Job Description
A growing privately owned business based in the Driffield area is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller to support the business on a 3 - 6 month basis. This is an immediate start role, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement (approximately 3 days on site per week).
The Role:
You will take ownership of the finance function, providing operational and strategic support across the business. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day finance operations, including month-end, reporting, and cashflow management.
* Overseeing management accounts and financial planning to support decision-making.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
* Providing financial insight and advice to support business growth initiatives.
* Leading or supporting the finance team as required.
The Person:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a finance manager or FC role.
* Experience in a commercial environment, ideally within SME or growth-stage businesses.
* Strong Excel and accounting system skills.
* Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
* Comfortable working in a hybrid setting, attending the office approximately 3 days per week.
