New Product Introduction Manager
Are you an experienced engineering professional ready to take the lead on new product launches? A growing and ambitious engineering business in Mildenhall, Suffolk is looking for a talented New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager to oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of new projects.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll manage cross-functional teams, liaise with key customers and suppliers, and ensure new products are developed efficiently and integrated seamlessly into production.
Responsibilities
* Manage all phases of new project development, including feasibility reviews, tooling design and manufacture, assembly development and validation, and handover to production
* Oversee CMM measurements and PPAP documentation preparation
* Coordinate communication with internal teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle
* Work closely with suppliers to meet technical and timeline objectives
* Provide design and manufacturing support to customers during development
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Required:
* 3+ years’ experience in an engineering or fabrication environment
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent communication and multitasking skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Proactive mindset and ability to implement best practices
Preferred:
* Experience operating CMM equipment
* 3D CAD experience or qualifications
* Familiarity with PFMEA, DFMEA, and control plans
* Previous involvement in APQP/PPAP projects
