Job Description
3. Lead technical and functional analysis for ESG and risk-focused data initiatives
4. Gather, document, and translate business and system requirements into detailed technical specifications
5. Support the implementation of a new data platform, including integration, configuration, and deployment
6. Work closely with business, data governance, and technology teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery
7. Design and maintain data models, schemas, and database structures
8. Develop data lineage, mapping, and flow across complex system landscapes
9. Collaborate with architects and engineers on data pipelines, integration patterns, and metadata frameworks
10. Ensure compliance with ESG regulations and data governance standards (e.g., BCBS239)
11. Support agile delivery, including user story definition, testing, and validation
The Successful Applicant
12. 10+ years' experience in technical/business systems analysis within financial services
13. Strong background in data analysis, data modelling, and database design
14. Proven experience working on risk, regulatory, or ESG-related initiatives
15. Strong technical skills, including SQL and Python
16. Experience producing technical requirements documentation and working across full SDLC
17. Strong understanding of data lineage, data governance, and regulatory frameworks
18. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
19. Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with engineering and QA teams
20. Familiarity with modern data platforms (Azure, Databricks) is advantageous
