Birchwell Associates are partnering with a rapidly growing organisation at the forefront of the UK's electric vehicle charging sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer looking to develop specialist expertise within the EV charging industry, supporting one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing charging networks.
The Role
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing electric vehicle charging equipment across a wide range of customer sites throughout the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on EV charging infrastructure
- Carrying out planned maintenance and warranty repairs
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards
- Completing inspections, testing and fault finding activities
- Identifying and reporting non-conformities where required
- Delivering a high level of customer service on-site
- Supporting the continued expansion of EV charging infrastructure across the UK
What We're Looking For
Essential requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable travelling nationwide
Desirable:
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- ECS Card
- EV Charging qualifications
- Previous EV charging or renewable energy experience
