HGV Technician – Birmingham
1. Basic Salary up to £46,000 (£22p/h)
2. 40-hour working week: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a fresh challenge with a long-established and reputable commercial vehicle group?
Our client, a leading Commercial Vehicle Dealer, is currently seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join their busy site in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team and work on a wide variety of vehicles.

Duties of an HGV Technician:
11. Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using diagnostic tools and manufacturer software
12. Complete service sheets and job cards in line with warranty and company processes
13. Work to manufacturer and industry standards ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely
14. Routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and LCVs
What we are looking for in the HGV Technician
15. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Technician in a commercial vehicle environment
16. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is essential
17. HGV licence preferred but not essential
18. Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
19. Ability to work well within a team and under your own initiative
