Procurement Officer 3 Vacancies (2 permanent posts and 1 fixed term 3-year post) 37 hours per week, hybrid working Are you a dynamic problem solver and motivated self-starter? As a Procurement officer, you will be reporting to either the Procurement Lead Communities & Resources (covering Property, Highways, Transport and Waste amongst other areas) or the Procurement Lead for People (covering adult and children’s social care, education and public health amongst other areas) and you will be involved in the whole procurement cycle from procurement planning through to contract award. Preparing procurement documentation with clients and providing support through the evaluation process. Calling off from central government and other external frameworks as well as publishing tenders using the Councils e-tendering platform (In-Tend) working with stakeholders across the organisation to embed sound and effective procurement practice. You will also be working with colleagues to provide general support to the whole Authority, responding to internal and external queries received via the Procurement & Commercial email box, analysing data and running reports.
