Job Role Dennison JCB have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Full Time Trainee Parts Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a person to grow your career with an extremely successful business and to develop your skillset by learning and working alongside our established parts department. Whilst this is an entry-level position, there are very real prospects for career progression within 12-18 months Hours & Location This position will be based at our Dennison JCB Depot in Ballyhartfield, Templepatrick. The core hours of work will be Monday to Friday; 08:30 17:00, however, some flexibility will be expected outside of these hours as needed due to operational requirements. About The Role Initially the successful candidate will carry out duties such as the following: Assisting goods in by unloading and sorting deliveries Allocating stock to correct areas of the store Picking parts orders from the store for customers and internal workshop Assisting with stock takes Assisting with parts and warranty returns in line with JCB processes Updating internal computer systems Other general parts administration duties By assisting the existing Parts team in the above you will gain knowledge and experience, create and develop relationships internally at Dennison JCB, as well as build an understanding of our customer base, the plant industry and the JCB product. Once the relevant training and experience has been established, it is anticipated that the role will develop into a full parts role, working within the JCB depot team to ensure the smooth running of the parts department. Required Criteria Minimum of GCSE English and Maths, grade A-C An excellent level of computer literacy is essential Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) at all levels, both internally and externally, in a professional manner (must be confident with telephone communication) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently Be a fast learner Be organised, methodical, proactive and enthusiastic Have the ability to work as part of a team and be able to work on own initiative Have a warm, friendly and outgoing personality Be willing to accept change and have the ability to be flexible to adapt accordingly as business needs require Be of a questioning nature Be open and honest at all times and always work with integrity Possess a willingness to learn and succeed Insist on the highest quality work Desired Criteria A qualification in ICT would be desirable but is not essential Previous experience working within a business environment would be highly desirable Although not essential, some existing mechanical knowledge would be advantageous or a strong desire to learn and work within the plant industry.
