Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

At our nursery, every day is a new adventure! Children engage in a variety of exciting extra-curricular activities, including French lessons, and love exploring our spacious outdoor area, complete with a mud kitchen for hands-on fun and exploration.
We are on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our friendly team. If you have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and are ready to work full-time (40 hours per week) with flexible shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities:
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
* Understand and implement the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
* Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date.
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources appropriate for each child's development stage.
* Promote respect and credibility through effective communication and consistency.
* Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
* Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

Requirements:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Leadership experience - Essential
* Over 1 year of experience working in Early Years - Essential
* Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Over 1 year of experience in a management position - Desirable
* Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
* Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable
