This role has a starting rate of £12.50 per hour. On successful completion of probation period, you will receive an increase to £13.00 per hour and £50 in hotel vouchers.
Role & Responsibilities:
* To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us – we aim to provide an unforgettable experience.
* To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally in accordance with our policies.
* To work in line with company policies and manuals.
* Work with the Food and Beverage Manager & Supervisor to maximize sales performance and achieve sales targets.
* Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs in the absence of Restaurant Managers & Supervisors.
* Follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
* Serve food and drinks quickly and efficiently, meeting our five-star standards.
* Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
* Make guests aware of offers on our food and drink range.
* Assist in setting up functions or events according to procedures.
* Maintain accurate billing systems and ensure all payments are collected from guests, with proper accounting and processing of all sales.
* Observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
* Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
* Foster good working relationships with all departments and communicate effectively throughout the hotel.
* Understand responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
