The Company
Our client is a specialist engineering company. Due growth they are now looking to recruit a Mechanical Lead.
The Role
1. Will be working permanent day shift role leading a team assembling and building their specialist products.
2. To conduct allocated work to established quality standards and to required timetables.
3. To lead/ direct other staff in conducting this work, ensuring the health and safety of all affected. This includes training.
4. To establish and maintain a safe and effective working environment, including shop cleanliness and housekeeping.
5. To ensure that equipment is available and maintained, including calibration of gauges.
6. To monitor and advise of stock levels of consumables and parts so that these are available to ensure service levels.
7. To provide required production records (paper and electronic).
8. To establish and maintain a communications system which enables staff and management to easily see important performance measures e.g. delivery on time, parts availability and quality problems/ equipment issues.
