Job Advertisement: Paint Shop Labourer
Location: Gateshead, UK
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Paint Shop Labourer to join our client in Gateshead. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a physical and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading wagons with materials and finished products.
*Work Preparation: Prepping items for painting, including degreasing and sanding.
*Wrapping Products: Wrapping and packing finished items for safe delivery.
*Housekeeping: Ensuring the workspace remains clean and organized at all times.
Standard Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Overtime:
Available on Saturdays and after standard hours (1-hour increments).
Paid at time and a half.
What We’re Looking For:
*A proactive and physically fit individual who can handle manual tasks.
*Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to work well in a team and maintain a tidy workspace.
*Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
*Due to location and start time Own transport would be beneficial.
