Due to continued business success, we are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Ballistics team. Based in our purpose-built manufacturing and test facility in Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone, you will support the design, testing, and production of cutting-edge personal protective armour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development of new armour solutions, creating initial designs using Adobe Illustrator.
* Collaborate with designers and engineers to refine technical concepts.
* Analyze test data, identify trends, and contribute to product improvements.
* Conduct controlled product tests and maintain detailed documentation.
* Prepare product specifications and cost analyses to support certification.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Ballistics team.
Requirements
Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or related.
* Basic understanding of ballistics principles (training provided).
* Understanding of design and product development principles.
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Desirable:
* Experience with Adobe Illustrator or CAD software.
* Internship or project experience in product testing or ballistics.
* Familiarity with ISO or ballistics standard documentation.
