Overview
Systems Engineer III - Apple Device Engineering at Tesco. This advanced Engineering role focuses on Apple device engineering, managing the full life cycle of Apple devices and their integration with the wider infrastructure and security ecosystem.
Responsibilities
* Represent Infrastructure/Systems Engineering across Tesco workplace technology and security.
* Design and deliver infrastructure solutions involving multiple infrastructure domains to accelerate capability and ease adoption by engineering teams.
* Own and shape the direction of significant areas of value.
You will need
* Proven track record of managing the full life cycle of Apple devices, including Mac and iOS.
* Experience in design and implementation of Apple device management platforms (Jamf experience preferred).
* Strong conceptual knowledge of device integration with the infrastructure ecosystem (e.g., Network, Active Directory, proxy, VPN, Microsoft 365).
* Thought leadership to lead definition of 3 to 5 year solution roadmaps.
* Complex stakeholder management (multiple internal cross-functional teams and suppliers).
* Financial acumen to prepare estimated costs for initiatives and contribute to budget approvals.
