Education, Qualification, and Training
* Understanding of all Microsoft applications, especially O365, Entra, and SharePoint
* Experience with desktop device management, setup, and support
Experience
* Proven experience in an IT role
* Experience using MS Autopilot, Intune, Purview, and Defender
* Patch management skills
* Spam filter management and configuration
Knowledge and Skills
* Ability to manage relationships with third-party suppliers
Other Job Requirements
* Ability to create technical documentation and manuals
Additional Qualifications
* Microsoft-based qualifications
* Understanding of network devices and systems management (including Cisco Umbrella & Mimecast)
* Experience with complex Atlassian projects
Additional Experience
* Experience in Healthcare IT environments
* IT security testing experience
* Experience using Qualys
Knowledge
* Understanding of ISO 27001, DPA, and GDPR
Key Responsibilities
* Providing technical support for the Serenova telephony system
* Managing and improving the Jira ticketing system
* Managing IT assets and lifecycle
* Overseeing NHS.net email aliases
* Supporting compliance with ISO27001 and ITIL, and assisting audits
* Supporting information security policies and procedures
* Administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Autopilot, Intune, and Defender
* Managing user accounts, permissions, and access
* Supporting cloud storage solutions like SharePoint and OneDrive
* Creating and optimizing SharePoint sites
* Collaborating with external IT providers
* Managing hardware/software across platforms, ensuring licensing compliance
* Installing/configuring hardware/software
* Contributing to IT strategy and software implementation
* Enhancing existing software systems
* Performing remote diagnostics and troubleshooting
* Logging and resolving support requests, escalating when necessary
