?? Engineering Team Leader (Shift)
?? Location: Westerleigh
?? Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off / rotating shifts days and nights
We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Leader to lead and support a team of engineers in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role where you'll drive performance, minimise downtime, and ensure high standards across safety, quality, and engineering delivery.
?? Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers on shift
* Provide technical support to resolve and prevent breakdowns
* Ensure all PPMs, work orders and breakdowns are completed and closed out
* Work closely with production during start-up and daily operations
* Maintain high standards of health & safety, hygiene and food safety
* Ensure accurate system updates (Holistech) for all work completed
* Deliver shift reports and effective handovers
* Drive continuous improvement and reduce downtime and costs
* Maintain audit-ready engineering areas and strong housekeeping standards
? Essential Criteria
* Recognised qualification in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
* Strong multi-skilled engineering knowledge (electrical & mechanical)
* Experience leading or supporting a team in a manufacturing environment
* Good IT skills (Holistech or similar systems)
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results
* Ability to work shifts and adapt to business needs

* Experience within an FMCG or chilled food environment
* Previous experience in a shift leadership role
