JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create SOPs for Food Safety Management in accordance with ISO 22000
* Closely liaise with support departments and implement SOPs through mentoring, training, and evaluation of colleagues
* Lead internal and coordinate external audits to ensure high scores
* Establish audit requirements to ensure compliance with ISO 22000
* Lead risk assessment, gap analysis, and risk management
* Own the Hygiene Operating Manual and relevant documentation
* Manage Food Safety Management System (FSMS) programs
* Promote a positive food safety, health, and hygiene culture across business units
* Identify and analyze hazards and risks using ISO 22000 and HACCP methodologies
* Serve as liaison and advisor with relevant departments and external parties
* Support sites in HACCP accreditation processes
* Manage stakeholder and risk management effectively
* Develop corrective actions and ensure compliance with business units
* Create training materials and record training activities according to L&D standards
* Prepare documentation for ISO or HACCP quality audits
* Report structural deficiencies related to food safety and hygiene
* Manage pest control systems
* Handle and review food complaints effectively
* Lead preventive maintenance schedules with facilities management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 10 years’ management experience in an international chain hotel or airline food catering industry at managerial level
* Master’s degree in microbiology or related field
* Certifications or accreditation for the UK
* Experience with ISO 22000 and HACCP implementation and management
* Pre-opening or new project management experience
* Bachelor’s degree in food science and/or Food Technology
* Understanding of HACCP qualifications and experience from implementation to execution
* Strong training, coaching, and online learning skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a data-driven mindset
* Ability to set directions, organize work, and maintain effective communication with colleagues
