O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a Logistics Manager for a new Commercial project in Darlington. The project is fast paced and we require a candidate with the competencies and relevant experience to fulfil the role.
Role:
1. Manage all site activities and scope applicable to the logistic package.
2. Manage the logistics team comprising of telehandler ops, hoist operators, general ops, gateman/traffic marshals.
3. Ensure compliance with the fire, traffic and Health and Safety Management Plans.
4. Chair Weekly Logistics Meetings with Site Managers and Supply Chain to ensure plans are communicated and coordinated.
5. Ensure site diary is kept detailing events of the day, operations, operatives plant and machinery, any issues, weather etc.
6. Ensure good housekeeping on and around site is maintained.
7. Ensure sufficient supply of waste receptacles are in place for use by the supply chain.
Requirements:
8. Experience working as a Logistics Manager for a main construction contractor.
9. SMSTS
10. CSCS Card
11. First Aid
12. Excellent organizational capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
13. Effective communication, supervision, and managerial skills.
