Base pay range
Expected range £32,000 - £45,000. Hybrid role: London Paddington Office, three days from office, two days from home.
What You'll Do
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Copywriter / Content Editor to join our Bespoke team. You will create compelling copy that aligns with Wallpaper*’s sophisticated voice, edit content for clarity and style, and collaborate with writers, designers, and editors to ensure every piece reflects the magazine’s high standards. You will work across print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Write clear, engaging, on‑brand copy for print and digital content including features, interviews, product descriptions, headlines, sponsored editorials, and social media posts.
* Edit and proofread articles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to Wallpaper*’s editorial guidelines and tone.
* Collaborate with editors, designers, and contributors to develop original content ideas and shape compelling narratives.
* Stay current on trends in design, architecture, fashion, and lifestyle to ensure content remains fresh and relevant.
* Take the lead with the Bespoke Art Director on developing pitches and live campaigns, pulling in creatives, designers, and editorial teams to deliver the best work.
* Support the development of sales support and brand marketing materials, including media pack updates, monthly issue sales support flyers, and event invitations.
* Help originate creative campaign concepts that inspire our clients and translate into campaigns on Future’s platforms.
* Break down client briefs and new opportunities, working with the Wallpaper* commercial and editorial team to develop ideas and concepts that are consistent with the Wallpaper* brand and TOV and interpret briefs through expertly written copy.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
* Experience as a copywriter, content editor, or similar role, preferably within luxury lifestyle, design, or fashion media.
* Ability to write in a polished, sophisticated tone that reflects Wallpaper*’s brand identity across print, digital, and social media.
* Strong editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Familiarity with SEO principles and digital publishing platforms.
* Passion for design, architecture, fashion, and cultural trends.
