A hands-on opportunity for a CNC Turning Setter / Operator to support the efficient running of multi-spindle CNC lathes within a busy machining environment. This role focuses on machine performance, quality output, and supporting new product introduction.
CNC Turning Setter / Operator Responsibilities:
* Set and operate Star CNC sliding head lathes to meet production targets
* Carry out job changeovers, tool setting, and tool changes efficiently
* Perform inspections and liaise with Quality for approvals
* Assist with minor breakdowns and troubleshooting on machines
CNC Turning Setter / Operator Experience:
* Previous experience setting and operating CNC lathes xsngvjr (sliding head preferred)
* Experience with Star CNC machines advantageous
* Knowledge of HAAS or Duggard machining centres beneficial
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
