We have an exciting opportunity for a Children's Outpatients manager to join our dynamic team within Leighton Hospital.

We have 9 consulting rooms and run a wide range of paediatric and specialist clinics daily, with visiting consultants from Liverpool, Manchester UHNM and Oswestry.
Nurses are responsible for the running of the treatment room completing a wide range of investigations, vaccinations and the general management of department.
Ensure high standards of patient care at all times, challenging and ensuring others challenge poor practice, in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct.
In collaboration with senior members of the team provide assurance that the standards set out in the relevant Nursing & Midwifery and MCHFT strategy are delivered.
Ensure local plans support all clinical quality external accreditation, for example Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards.
Ensure agreed systems and process to consistently provide safe, effective, high quality patient care and embed a culture of improvement.
Through visible clinical leadership ensure that the delivery of kind, compassionate and respectful care takes place.
Act as the patient’s advocate when appropriate, when informed decisions may lead to choices being made concerning treatment options.
Maintain high standards of evidence based patient care.
In accordance with the individualized patient care, ensure clinical observations are taken, results recorded and any appropriate actions taken based on the results.
Ensure the maintenance of professional contemporaneous records at all times, document all actions and interventions in a clear, honest and timely manner in line with Trust policy.
Deal with concerns raised by patients and visitors in a proactive manner; review patient feedback results and update the ward’s patient experience improvement plans.
Store, check and administer drugs in accordance with the Trust Medicines policy.
