We are looking for
A motivated person with keen attention to detail to manage the operations of the hopper/dressing room to ensure continuous supply of product to the grader line. This person should also have a forklift licence.
Working hours - 05.15am - 5.30pm on a 4on, 4off shift pattern
The Position
1. Actively monitor productivity on the grading line and ensure the line is operating as efficiently as possible
2. Ensure grader beds and blades are cleaned and changed as and when required and are recorded in the appropriate log
3. Ensure that the grading facilities cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained to a high level and follow the clean as you go procedure
4. Assist/support the Production Technician Supervisor and Production Technician Engineer in achieving the best possible product quality post grading
5. Management and adjustment of orange bands ensuring the feed is correct so the onions are not damaged during the grading process
6. Ensure all procedures relating to the safe operation of forklift trucks are strictly adhered to
