About the role
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to support the smooth running of our Jersey office operations. This role is varied and hands-on, requiring someone who can confidently handle facilities management, administration, and event coordination, while also acting as a key support to the management team. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day office needs, liaising with contractors, managing supplies, and ensuring our teams and facilities are always prepared and supported.
Please note - This is a part time role, working 25 hours per week.
You will be responsible for
Managing office facilities, including health & safety compliance, contractor coordination, and reporting/monitoring building issues through to resolution.
Coordinating meeting room set-up, catering, stationery, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
Handling office logistics, including mail distribution, stock management (PPE, uniforms, supplies), and off-site storage.
Providing administrative support to management, including diary coordination, travel arrangements, presentations, and accurate minute-taking.
Assisting with company-wide events, staff initiatives, and occasional travel to ports and vessels to support operations and engagement activities.

With excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail, you are confident managing multiple tasks at once and supporting colleagues at all levels. You bring a flexible and proactive approach to your work, with the ability to problem-solve, prioritise and meet deadlines. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, you will represent the company in a professional and personable manner, while maintaining discretion with confidential information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, will help you succeed in this role.
