We are looking for a Project Manager for our ongoing internal change programme, supporting the implementation of new technologies and ways of working across the organisation. Critical to your success, will be your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and customers to ensure projects meet objectives and are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality – as well as being strictly compliant to our governance standards.
About You
It will be your responsibility to proactively lead the early initiation of projects with minimal instruction. Turn high level project proposals into well defined projects, mobilising resources, and establishing the project structures required for successful delivery. You will work with stakeholders and partners, taking early action to address risks and issues and ensure the appropriate level of governance and controls are in place.
Required:
1. Knowledgeable project manager used to managing projects to agreed specification, time, cost and quality through the full project life cycle ideally with experience of project delivery within an organisational transformation programme. Strong aptitude for creating project delivery plans in consultation with key stakeholders that maximise adoption and minimise resistance and facilitating the project to get the best out of teams operating in a matrix environment. Ability to coordinate, monitor and control individual projects to ensure delivery of objectives. Experience ensuring that projects are transitioned into Business as Usual with full documentation and handover
Essential Skills:
2. Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies with ability and willingness to switch between them. Effective people management skills to manage cross functional, multi-disciplinary teams and to influence people outside the direct line management chain Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex information effectively to meet the needs of different audiences Proactive behaviours, with a strong focus on delivering for both customer and NPL Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office

3. Project Management Qualification (APM PPQ, Prince2, Chartership or equivalent)
