Part-Time Year 6 Teaching Assistant - North Lancaster Location: North Lancaster Hours: 9:00am - 12:00pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only) Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference in the classroom? We're working with a lovely primary school just outside Lancaster who are looking for a caring, committed Teaching Assistant to join their Year 6 team on a part-time basis. What You'll Be Doing: Some 1:1 support required for a capable Year 6 pupil (EHCP pending). Assisting the wider class to keep learning on track and engaging. Supporting low level behaviour with a calm, consistent approach. Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff. The Role: Part-time: 9am-12pm, Monday to Friday. Term-time only - perfect for work-life balance! Long-term opportunity with potential to extend. We're Looking For Someone Who: Has experience in Key Stage 2, especially with additional needs or behavioural support. Is patient, adaptable, and a real team player.
