Salary
£24,084 to £24,701 per annum pro‑rata, based on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Working Hours
22.5 hours per week, ten days per week rotating: Monday–Wednesday 9:30 am–2 pm and Saturday–Sunday 9:30 am–2 pm.
Responsibilities
* Take bookings by telephone or in person.
* Collect and reconcile monies on reception while on duty.
* Deal with enquiries, direct users, issue hire equipment.
* Handle membership enquiries and issue membership cards.
* Check validity of users and deal with lost property.
Qualifications
The role is key to ensuring a first class and seamless experience for our students, staff, alumni and public members. Requirements:
* Excellent telephone manner, calm and professional under pressure.
* Previous experience in a customer‑focused role and evidence of managing cash handling/reconciliation processes.
* Desirable: experience with computer‑booking systems.
* Excellent communication and customer care skills, a proactive approach to tasks and strong attention to detail.
