Support Workers (Learning Disabilities)
Casual positions working as and when required.
BCP Supported Living Service supports adults with learning disabilities to live in their own home to achieve their optimum level of independence.
The service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will be required to work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
We provide person‑centred care and support, enabling individuals to make choices and have control over their daily life.
Responsibilities
* Assist people with learning disabilities in their daily lives.
* Record, assess, monitor and review care to meet individual outcomes.
* Work as part of a busy team using your own initiative.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to treat people with kindness, dignity, empathy and respect.
* Adaptability to changing needs of people and the service.
* Complete a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
Benefits
Full training will be offered. From 1 December 2025, our updated Pay and Reward package will take effect, with a salary range of £15.56–£17.18 per hour (pay protection will not apply). New starters will begin at the bottom of the pay band. The role offers excellent scope for growth and meaningful contribution.
